Making the Future of Making Music Camp at LSU
The LSU Center for Computation & Technology is offering a unique summer experience by combining technology and music in their new summer camp titled “Making the Future of Making Music”. The camp dates are June 10-14, 2019 and will be held in LSU’s Digital Media Center. This is a beginner course in computers and music, only basic computer skills are required. Rising 6th through 12th graders are welcome to attend. The course will cover the basics of music technology alongside music theory, acoustics and sound design. No prior knowledge required, but musical or computer experience will make the course even more fun. Click here for information.

Louisiana Girls Leadership Academy
The 2019 Louisiana Girls Leadership Academy (LGLA) will take place June 9th - 12th and applications are now open! Applications are open to young women leaders entering 9th -11th grade. Girls selected for the academy will have the opportunity to learn to lead through communication, relationship building and public service. The application can found here.

The LSU College of Engineering is proud to offer a residential engineering summer camp to qualified lemale high school sludents. Halliburton XCITE gives high school girls the chance to explore, create, experiment, build, code, design, and compete in a variety of engineerang and college prep activities.
