Aaron Angel

I have a Mathematics degree from LSU and have been teaching at Lee High for three years. I am an assistant coach for both girls volleyball and boys basketball. I am only 6'7".


David Woods

Mr. David Woods is a native of Fort Ord, California. He is a 1996 graduate of South Lafourche High School. Mr. Woods earned a Bachelor of Arts in French and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from LSU and then obtained a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Southeastern Louisiana University and a Masters in Natural Science from LSU. Mr. Woods has taught at Tara High School from 2005-2015 before joining the staff at Lee Magnet High School and has taught Algebra I, Algebra I Honors, Geometry, Advanced Math, Advance Math Honors, College Algebra, College Trigonometry, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC.

Arpita Mukhopadhyay

I have a Masters in Statistics and more than 8 years of experience teaching Mathematics and Statistics both at the school and college level. I have a strong passion in teaching Mathematics and have continued working with diverse learners and providing them with continued support, individualized attention and incorporating appropriate and innovative methods and ideas into teaching.Additionally, I am a trained Indian Classical Singer and enjoy listening to music in my leisure hours.

My name is Caleb Soong and I teach Geometry. I am a third year teacher and this is my first year at Lee Magnet High School. I grew up in Mandeville and I have lived in Baton Rouge for the past nine years. I have a B.S. in Finance from LSU and a M.A.T. from LSU. My passions are math, music, sports, and video games. I have a dog named Charlie Brown.


Alyssa Walker

I am an Algebra 1 teacher. I am also certified to teach Biology. I’m from Monroe, LA and was valedictorian of my high school class. I was Newcomer of the Year in softball my freshman year and All State my junior year. I was also a Competitive Cheerleader, and we placed in the top 10 nationally every year. I moved to Baton Rouge in 2002 to attend LSU where I received my bachelor’s degree.
