Coach White enters his 9th year in education. He serves as the Athletic Director and the head coach of Boys Basketball.
Coach Hawke was a 4-year starter at UL-Lafayette(2002-2005) as a First Baseman. As 2 Time All Louisiana and All Sunbelt Selection, Hawke holds school records for season walks, career walks, and putouts. He was honored as a National Player of the Week and Northwoods League MVP/All-Star Game MVP.
Hawke was drafted in 29th Round by the Texas Rangers, spending time in both the Rangers and Marlins systems. Hawke played 7 minor league seasons, which included 3 All-Star Appearances and 2008 Frontier League MVP.
Hawke is in his 2nd year as Head Coach of Lee Magnet High Baseball. Prior to working at Lee, Hawke coached at Parkview Baptist, Woodlawn, and Episcopal High School.
Coach Haynes embarks in her 29th year as an educator with the East Baton Rouge Parish Schools System and her 6th year teaching students Physical Education as well as serving in the capacity as the head volleyball coach at Lee Magnet High. She is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and earned her Bachelor of Science and Masters of Education degrees from Southern University, Baton Rouge. Haynes is also a former 2-sport collegiate student-athlete and Hall of Fame inductee.
Valencia Wilson, (nee. Norwood) was born in Baton Rouge, graduated from Capitol High School in 2005 where she played basketball. Wilson helped lead her team to two state championships and winning one of those state championships with Seimone Augustus. After high school, Wilson attended University of Louisiana at Monroe where she majored in Kinesiology. She graduated Spring of 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. In 2015 she received her Master’s degree in Sports Management from NorthCentral University.

Pooler is a former collegiate Track and Field athlete, as well as, a 2001 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi (Hattiesburg) where she received a Bachelors degree in Health and Physical Education. She has been teaching/coaching since 2001 from Early childhood to High School.
Hello LEE parents and community, I am very excited to begin my 2nd year of teaching at LEE. I earned my degree in Physical Education while playing Football for Southern Connecticut State. Anything related to athletics, strength training or the outdoors is my passion. We have a wonderful group of students here at LEE, I look forward to building off of our progress from last year! Fun Fact: I am from VT so I love Maple Syrup! (the real stuff)
